About the company
Allegro is one of the largest e-commerce platform in Central Europe, offering a wide range of products from electronics to fashion, both from businesses and individual sellers.
Objective
Over several years I owned the strategy for my area — defining it, executing it, and measuring the impact — across new services and improvements to existing ones. The real work was cross-team: outcomes depended on many product and technology groups, so building partnerships was the job, and their support was the bottleneck. A constant tension ran underneath — balancing two very different customer groups, sellers and buyers.
Insight-based strategy and sellers support activities
I built experience strategies for the seller side, turning research into decisions that lined up user needs with business goals.
Highlights

Multiple quantitative and qualitative research programs focused on vendor needs

Strategic approach to sales support tools tailored to meet vendor requirements

Insights and support the process of creating a delivery and packaging experience from the official Allegro store
Cutting-edge tools to empower and enhance sales and merchandising
I designed tools that made sellers’ and merchandisers’ work faster and cleaner — balancing team efficiency, stakeholder expectations, and integration, and built to scale as strategies changed. The most concrete was a visual offer-builder that replaced raw, hand-coded HTML listings with real structure; standard today, a step change back then.
Highlights

Advanced WYSIWYG solutions for creating offers

Unifaction of a product page layout from freedom of content and form (like Aliexpress) to user-friendly mobile-ready templates

Optimized and quantitatively tested landing pages and sales category

Contributing to the development of product catalog tools

Elevating brand zones (stores for key accounts like Adidas, Samsung, Reebok, Huawei, Xiaomi etc.)

Optimization and automation of the merchandising process
Taking buyers' experience to the next level
Projects building new experiences and improving existing ones, mostly from the buyer’s side.
Highlights

Redesigning the post-purchase rating and review system

Additional services available to buyers (bringing, installation or insurance of goods)

AB testing and optimization of the sales process in web and mobile
Ultimate back-office financial management dashboard
I designed a back-office financial dashboard that consolidated several fragmented tools into one, shaped directly with the people who would use it daily.
Highlights

Mapping the financial processes related to the project goal - combining the various steps and tools into one overall vision

Workshops with target groups to collaboratively develop a list of gaps and opportunities, and then the best solutions

Prototyping of key processes and validation with end users
Expansion of a maturing design system
I contributed hands-on design to Metrum, Allegro’s design system, working alongside the dedicated DS team where product designers were needed to push it further.
Highlights

A contribution in the initial stages of validating the Design System, where the designed elements were made available for designers to use in their projects

Filters for produt lists for mobile, tablet and desktop - in web and mobile app versions

Standardize tables and their guideline used in different contexts
Outcomes
Measured results of implemented changes and tool improvements that translated into savings and revenues
Impact of implemented strategic projects in participation of C-level managers, business stakeholders and target groups
Improved user satisfaction in vital processes proven by qualitative and quantitative research
Projects affecting the overall omnichannel experience related to both web and native applications
